The Humboldt County Recorder issues Authorized and Informational copies of Humboldt County vital records including Humboldt County birth certificates, Humboldt County death certificates and Humboldt County marriage records (for marriage licenses that were issued in Humboldt County).

You may order copies of Humboldt County birth certificates by mail or in person at the Humboldt County Recorder. If you apply by mail, your request must include: the full name on the birth certificate; the date of birth; the city where the birth occurred; father's full name; mother's full maiden name; your relationship to the person named on the certificate; a daytime telephone number; and the address where the record should be sent; and the sworn statement.
