PLUMAS COUNTY VITAL RECORDS
The Plumas County Recorder issues Authorized and Informational copies of Plumas County vital records including Plumas county birth certificates, Plumas County death certificates, and Certified Plumas County marriage records (for marriage licenses that were issued in Plumas County).

If you are not eligible to receive an authorized copy of the birth certificate, you will receive a certified informational copy with the words 'INFORMATIONAL, NOT A VALID DOCUMENT TO ESTABLISH IDENTITY' imprinted across the face of the copy. This document is primarily used for genealogy and cannot be used for identification purposes.
