Galveston County Health District (Galveston County Vital Records) issues certified copies of Galveston County birth certificates and Galveston County death certificates for events which occurred within Galveston County. Statewide birth certificates are also issued by Galveston County Vital Records, for events occurring outside of Galveston County from 1927 to present.
