IMPERIAL COUNTY VITAL RECORDS
The Imperial County Recorder issues Authorized and Informational copies of Imperial County vital records including Imperial County birth certificates, Imperial County death certificates, and Certified Imperial County marriage records (for marriage licenses that were issued in Imperial County).

Who Can Order?

You may order copies of Imperial County death certificates by mail or in person at the Imperial County Recorder. If you apply by mail, your request must include: the full name of the decedent; the date of death; the place where the death occurred; your relationship to the decedent; a daytime telephone number; and the address where the record should be sent; and the sworn statement. This document is primarily used for genealogy and cannot be used for legal purposes.
