The Marion County Division of Vital Records (Marion County Vital Records) issues certified copies of Marion County birth certificates and Marion County death certificates, for events which occurred within Marion County. A certified photocopy of the original death record. This death certificate is accepted by all state and federal agencies. It can typically be used to obtain death benefits, claim insurance proceeds, notify social security and other legal purposes. Death Certificates are available for events that occurred in Marion County from 1990 to present.

DEATH W/ CAUSE
