BUTTE COUNTY VITAL RECORDS
The Butte County Recorder (Butte County Vital Records) issues Authorized and Informational copies of Butte County birth certificates, Butte County death certificates and Butte County marriage records (for marriage licenses that were issued in Butte County). Who Can Order?

Certified copies of confidential Butte County marriage records may only be obtained by the husband or the wife; or, by court order. If you are the husband or the wife, proof of your identity and a notarized Certificate of Acknowledgement must be submitted with your request before the order will be processed.
