CONFIDENTIAL LOS ANGELES COUNTY MARRIAGE RECORDS
Copies of confidential marriage records may ONLY be obtained by a party of the marriage, OR by order of the superior court. If you are not a party of the marriage or do not have a court order, you may receive a written acknowledgement that a marriage took place.

To order copies of confidential Los Angeles marriage records, you will need to submit a written request directly to Los Angeles County Registrar - Recorder, along with a check or money order made payable to the Registrar-Recorder County Clerk (do not send cash).
