An exact certified duplicate of the original microfiche record that can be used to obtain an apostille, authentication or Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB Card). Records are available for events that occurred within the State of Arkansas from February 1, 1914 to present.

Birth Certificate
A certified copy of a birth certificate that can typically be used for travel, passport, proof of citizenship, social security, driver's license, school registration, personal identification and other legal purposes. Birth Certificates are available for events that occurred within the State of Arkansas from February 1, 1914 to present.

Important Note - There are a limited number of birth records for events that occurred starting in 1881 for Little Rock and Ft Smith. There are also a limited number of birth records for events that occurred before 2/1/1914 within the State of Arkansas. Please submit a written request directly to Arkansas Vital Records for these event dates.

Death
A certified copy that can typically be used to obtain death benefits, claim insurance proceeds, notify social security and other legal purposes. Death Certificates are available for events that occurred within the State of Arkansas from February 1, 1914 to present. The only death records that are available prior to 2/1/1914 are for events that occurred in Little Rock from 1881 to present.

Divorce
A certified copy of the Certificate of Divorce. This is not a copy of the divorce decree. Divorce records are available for events that occurred within the State of Arkansas from 1923 to present.

A certified copy of the Certificate of Marriage. This is not a copy of the marriage license. Marriage records are available for marriages that occurred within the State of Arkansas from 1917 to present.
