Divorce Verification
A certified copy of the divorce certificate. This is not a copy of the divorce decree. Divorce records are available for events that occurred within the State of Maryland from 1990 to present. For events that occurred prior to 1990, you will need to contact the Circuit Court Clerk in the county where the event occurred.

Marriage
A certified copy of the marriage certificate. This is not a copy of the marriage license. Marriage records are available for events that occurred within the State of Maryland from 1990 to present. Birth
A certified birth certificate that can typically be used for travel, passport, proof of citizenship, social security, driver's license, school registration, personal identification and other legal purposes. Death
A certified copy of a death record that can typically be used to obtain death benefits, claim insurance proceeds, notify social security and other legal purposes. Death Certificates are available for events that occurred within the State of Maryland from 1969 to present.
