Who Can Order?
You are entitled to obtain a certified copy of a South Carolina birth certificate if you are the person named on the certificate (must be 18 years of age), the parent(s) named on the birth certificate. All others must submit proof of entitlement (i.e. guardianship papers, power of attorney, etc.). Entitlement documentation will need to be fax to 877.284.1084, upon completion of your online order.
