Who Can Order?
Copies of public Alameda County marriage records may be obtained by the parties of the marriage or immediate family members. Certified copies of confidential Alameda County marriage records may only be obtained by the husband or the wife; or, by court order. If you are the husband or the wife, proof of your identity must be submitted with your request, and all applicants must submit a Sworn Statement before the order will be processed.
